Our Plants
Homewood Nursery offers over 750 varieties of plants in season, many of them grown right here in our greenhouses and growing fields by our expert Production Department staff. Our goal is to reduce or eliminate toxic pesticides in our operations, and we have a robust program of beneficial insects, biopesticides, and low toxicity interventions in our Production Department.

Each spring and fall Homewood partners with Iseli Nursery to bring collectible conifers, Japanese maples, and other specialty plants to the Raleigh area and offer them at a discount when you pre-order. Click the picture link for more details.
Homewood gets fresh shipments of tropicals and houseplants year round and we grow our own, too! You'll find popular houseplants like fiddle-leaf fig and monstera as well as indoor bloomers. Looking for a larger specimen or something special? Ask one of our staff about special orders.
At Homewood we grow many of the flowering annuals we sell! Thousands of plants are available in spring including the latest and greatest from the world of horticulture. In fall, we have loads of pansies, ornamental cabbages, Fall Magic, and garden mums to color your fall and winter landscape.
Homewood is famous for its huge holiday crop of lush and beautiful poinsettias. We grow over 30,000 poinsettias for the holidays and every year we feature new varieties in our greenhouses. Many of our customers visit us each year to enjoy the sea of color in our greenhouses and to take family holiday photos at any of our great photo opportunities that we set up throughout the greenhouses.

Homewood has carries a wide selection of perennials, the plants that return year after year in the garden, some of them proudly grown here at the nursery. We also carry a great selection of groundcovers and vines.
